Doug Porter of Danville, Va. received his channeled Redneck 33 Coupe and Pete & Jakes chassis in late July of 2008.  Doug owns an Auto parts store in Danville so needless to say, he knows what it takes to build a piece like this.  The build of the car, top to bottom, only took 5 months. Doug says, “The quality of body put out by Redneck is the only reason the project could be done in this time frame. If you price around you will find that Redneck costs a bit more but it is worth every penny you spend. You will be pleased with the straightness and lack of blocking needed. I only used about a qt of filler on the whole project and saved myself a lot of time. I have seen bodies made by other companies and there is no comparison; these are quality bodies!” You can can see by the outstanding outcome of the car that Doug knows how to build.

Shortly after the car was finished Doug was asked to sell the car to a collector/dealer in Maryland.  The money was right.  After a short stint in Maryland, the car was purchased and shipped across the country to Scotty Gray a renowned collector in California.  Scotty added a few of his little tricks to make the car as you see it now!!  Great car with plenty of ole' school attitude.
