HOME OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY FIBERGLASS STREET ROD BODIES EVER!

"Where other company’s bodies take 2 to 3 gallons of Bondo to address the seams and surface issues, on a Redneck you might use a quart."

Before we started building fiberglass products, we were a Rod and Custom shop, specializing in paint and bodywork. Having built many of our competitors’ products, we knew exactly what was involved with getting their bodies ready to paint. This lesson taught us to find something better than the standard gel coat finish. Redneck bodies are primed with a Valspar surfacer, specific for the Redneck body. This is a significant time-saver over traditional gel coat finish, which can require 3-4 months of body straightening with products such as Bondo. Redneck bodies generally use less than a 1/2 cup of Bondo and can be ready to paint within 40-60 hours. This primer surface is not brittle like gel coat. Rather, it is very flexible and elastic, and therefore will withstand far more abuse than gel coated material.
